Coriolis effect

July 4, 2024 - Reading time: ~1 minute

Hurricanes spin one direction above the equator, the other direction below where they are typhoons, and can't cross. Due to Coriolis effect. Need to find more supporting evidence.

A bullet deflects the same amount in flight as it does if you just drop it, ignoring air resistance surface differences and stabilization jitter.

Would be fun to try this.
