"Photos" from space

Often, FE proponents claim there are no photos from space. It's literally the first thing they did with the V2 rocket.

A film photo of Earth from space

It isn't the whole earth, but getting the film back from that far away would be pretty challenging.

They try to use a semantic tactic to discredit the word "image" as being fake. They're images because they were taken with sensors instead of film. That's it. Just like your digital camera takes images. Calling them "photos" isn't accurate. Instead of getting mad at NASA for using accurate language, get mad at Apple for misusing the word Photo.

The CORONA satellites are another example of film in space. There are declassified archives of the photographs.

They did aerial recovery of the film which is pretty cool.

About

I'm just a guy who was told about flat earth, looked into it, and decided after a lot of thought that it's a ball. This site is a catalog of all the topics I looked into.
